Do you ever think about how your drinking might impact your children? As parents, of course we think about the values and characteristics we want to pass on to our children, but how often do we really stop to consider what they’re learning from watching and experiencing us drinking?

New Year’s is coming, and we all know what that brings: resolutions. On top of focusing on a Dry(ish) January, many of you might be looking to add on other healthy habits. That’s where this article comes in handy — 18 useful tools, apps and tips that will make the month as easy as possible.

More than 25,000 individuals participated in Sunnyside’s Dry(ish) January Challenge, a challenge to reset alcohol consumption in January with no pressure to quit, and the majority intend to continue drinking less in the following months.

Drinking less alcohol doesn’t have to be restrictive or stressful. Moderating your drinking at your own pace might help take away the pressure that often comes with strict abstinence-only goals. While it’s not necessarily for everyone, finding a balance that works for you can make cutting back feel a lot more manageable and enjoyable.

Welcome back to Journey to the Sunnyside. Today, I’ve got a true legend with us—Mark Sisson. Mark is the founder of Primal Kitchen and Peluvia, author of several best-selling books on health and fitness, and the mastermind behind Mark’s Daily Apple, one of the most respected resources in the health and wellness space. If you’re interested in living a life full of energy, balance, and purpose, you won’t want to miss this episode.
